Join us as we continue to continue to serve our mission to aid the poor, the destitute, the hungry, the aged, the sick, the unemployed, the orphaned, the imprisoned, the widowed, the handicapped, the victims of disasters, to undertake the burial of impoverished persons and to offer assistance to anyone who may need the help of the Church through fund-raising efforts.

Ministry Audience: Predominantly woman over 18, men are able to participate at select events

Orthodox Spiritual and Mental Wellness Center

For those who are struggling in conflict and could use an opportunity for counseling. We are hoping to provide support groups for divorced couples, pre marital couples, miscarriages, caregivers, mental health issues, drug & alcohol addiction and others so that they will be able to supplement their licensed counseling support with our Orthodox faith based opportunity at St. Stefanos. Please contact Fr. Sampson Kasapakis for date and meeting times.

Ministry Audience: Those who need any kind of counseling. We welcome all  struggling with anxiety, depression, marital issues  Drug/Alcohol Abuse and looking to supplement regular Licensed Counselor appts

Prison Ministry

After establishing relationships with local jail and prisons, we will be able to minister to those who are in jail and their families. We will be able to provide Orthodox publications, Study Bibles, prayer books, icon prayer cards, and catechism courses to those in prison and to prison chapel libraries. We will provide an opportunity to give guidance and support to those in prison as well as the families of those who are in prison.

Ministry Audience: People who are in prison, the family of those imprisoned, and parishioners willing to volunteer alongside Fr. Sampson

St. Stefanos Food Pantry

As a Christian Community, we are told to love our Lord and to love thy neighbor. Many of our brothers and sister are in need. On the first and third Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm, we gather together to serve our brothers and sisters by partnering with the USDA to supplement our church food drives to supply food to those who are in need. 

Ministry Audience: People who want to help those in need

Visiting Angels

This is a great group who have the heart to go to all the Hospitals, the homebound, and Hospices to visit the Orthodox Faithful to supplement Fr. Sampson visits. We welcome all interested volunteers!

Ministry Audience: Those that are sick, and volunteers to visit them!
