Saint Stefanos Youth Ministries

Our Sunday School program is for students starting from preschool to all the way to high school. Our Catechism program educates our youth about our Faith and Tradition and prepares them to live as Orthodox Christians in today’s world. 

Ministry Audience: Preschool to High School

Leadership Team: Connie Newell

Infants and Toddlers are welcome to join us with their parents or grandparents for our little ones to grow in their faith with a lesson, craft, story time and socialization. 

Ministry Audience: 40 days- 4 years old

Leader: Presvytera Mallory Kasapakis and Savella Caruso

HOPE/JOY is a ministry that lays the foundation of the Holy Orthodox Faith at a young age. By developing a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and becoming active sacramental members of the living Church, our young people will be equipped with tools necessary to assist them in their journey toward salvation. HOPE/JOY ministers to Kindergarten through 5th grade and has monthly events.

Ministry Audience: K-5

Leadership Team: Dora Komninos and Lea Antonaklas

The mission and goal of GOYA ministry is to lead our young people into experiencing the Holy Orthodox Faith. By developing a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and becoming active sacramental members of the living Church, our young people will be equipped with tools necessary to assist them in their journey toward salvation. GOYA ministers to youth 6th grade through 12th grade and has occasional monthly events in addition to meeting every Wednesday.

Ministry Audience: 6th Grade-12th Grade

Leaders: George Spantidakis, Soula Hareas, Theodora Danzig

Similarly to our School System, Annunciation Ministries will integrate children with special needs into its ministry catechism, social gatherings, support groups, and prayer services. If you are interested, we will be seeking out parents or volunteers who can work one on one to create an educational orthodox environment for all of our youth. 

Leader: Rev. Fr. Sampson N. Kasapakis and designated volunteers based on need

Each summer St. Stefanos provides a week-long session of a Summer Camp. Each week has religious sessions, arts and crafts, music, and activities for our campers with a final all-camp event on the final day for the summer.
