St Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church - St Petersburg Florida

After receiving a great deal of feedback from a number of families, the St. Stefanos Parish Council has made arrangements for an additional Divine Liturgy to be celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of each month, oriented towards the Sunday School children and families. Fr. Joseph will offer this Liturgy in the Educational Building for the benefit of children and parents at the same time the main Divine Liturgy is offered in the Church by a visiting priest. The next Children's Liturgy will be Sunday, June 22, 2008 (the fourth Sunday of June, due to the feast of Pentecost falling on the third Sunday). 

We celebrated our annual Sunday School Commencement on Sunday, May 18, 2008, immediately following the Divine Liturgy. Each of the classes were recognized and presented with a small gift, an icon of the Nativity of the Lord. The Ladies Philoptochos Society and the Daughters of Penelope also awarded their Scholarships to graduating seniors.
